How The Morning Brief Works
A quick daily ritual that keeps the whole team aligned in under 30 minutes.
Submit Your Callout
Head to the Submit tab. Pick your name, choose a category, and write 1-3 sentences about what the team needs to know today.
The Brief Generates
Once submissions are in, the admin generates the Morning Brief — a clean AI summary organized by category or by person. You can view it in the Standup tab.
Vote on What to Discuss
After the brief generates, voting opens for 5 minutes. In the Standup tab, select your name and upvote the topics you think deserve standup time.
Vote wisely. The more topics you upvote, the more you dilute the time allocated to each one. Be selective — pick only the topics that truly need discussion.
The Agenda Reveals
When voting closes, the app ranks topics by votes and allocates discussion time proportionally across the admin-chosen standup length (15–60 min). A short open conversation block is added at the end. The full agenda appears with time allocations so everyone knows what's being covered and for how long.
Check the History
The History tab keeps a rolling log of everyone's callouts over time. Click any cell to expand and read the full entry. Great for catching up if you missed a day.
Quick Tips
- Submissions are live — they appear on everyone's board instantly
- You can submit multiple callouts if you have more than one thing to share
- Vote sparingly — each additional upvote dilutes time from your other picks
- The admin can extend voting or generate the brief early if needed
- Everything syncs in real-time — no need to refresh
